Sports Physiotherapy is a form of Physio that focuses on the treatment of sports-related illness and injury. Your Sports Physiotherapist will help athletes return to sport using techniques such as injury prevention education, load management, sports-specific movement retraining, and strength and conditioning.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a specialised area of Physio that focuses on the assessment and diagnosis of injuries involving the muscles and joints of the body. Your Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist will use an evidence-based and patient centred approach to treat your injury with techniques such as pain education, massage, joint mobilisation and exercise rehabilitation.
