Strength Classes

Our Strength Classes are designed to help you become stronger, healthier and more confident through safe, evidence-based exercise. Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing osteoporosis or osteopenia, living with arthritis, or simply wanting to improve your strength and fitness, our small group classes provide expert guidance in a supportive environment.

Unlike a traditional gym, every participant follows an individualised exercise program designed by one of our Physiotherapists. This allows you to exercise safely while progressing towards your own goals under professional supervision.

Evidence-Based Bone Health

Strong bones require the right type of exercise. Our strength classes are built on current research demonstrating that progressive resistance training, impact loading and balance exercises can improve bone health, increase strength and reduce the risk of falls.

Our Physiotherapists use these evidence-based principles to develop safe, personalised programs for people with osteoporosis, osteopenia and anyone wanting to improve their long-term bone health.

Who Are These Classes For?

Our classes are suitable for people wanting to:

  • Improve strength and muscle mass
  • Build bone density
  • Recover from injury or surgery
  • Reduce joint pain
  • Improve balance
  • Return to sport safely
  • Stay active and independent as they age

No previous gym experience is required.

Getting Started

Before joining a class, you’ll complete an initial physiotherapy assessment where we’ll discuss your goals, assess your strength and movement, and develop a personalised exercise program tailored specifically to you. This allows us to place you in the most appropriate class and ensures every exercise is safe, effective and aligned with your individual needs.
